One of the most impressive features of the ELEMENTS window is its “best in the industry” energy efficiency rating. With the Ultimate™ glass package included, it touts a U-value of .16. There are a number of components that contribute to this U-value, one of them being the metal-free Super Spacer that separates the three panes of glass and drastically reduces the transfer of cold conduction through the glass unit.

ELEMENTS WEATHER-STRIP FIGHTS MOLD AND MILDEW

All ELEMENTS windows feature UltraSmart® weatherstripping. This extremely innovative weather-strip combines the effectiveness of Gold Series Tri-fin™ gaskets with Ultra-Fresh® anti-microbial biocide. The resulting benefit is extremely high protection around the perimeter of all sashes against mold and mildew spores, airborne bacteria and pollen. The combination of the triple-fins and biocide also prevent the weather-strip from deteriorating and collapsing over time causing a breakdown in air tightness.
