We went through any number of design options with the customer with always specifying a 36 inch wide door because a front door should always be as wide as possible to facilitate large items coming in and out. The final decision was to go with a 6 panel solid door with full glass sidelights. This was a Pro Via Heritage full fiberglass door with insulated glass sidelights. The view from the street is distinctive too as you can see. Also, the design objective of much more light coming into the hall was accomplished as well.
