installation of modular glass block walk in shower 8This blog will take you from concept, layout, to actual installation of a modular glass block walk-in shower.  We start with a computer rendering of the proposed shower. Following overall design approval we use laser cut lay out cards to actually lay out the new shower wall. The first panel is leveled, plumb and then attached to the wall with a stainless steel anchor. Sealant is then spread on the spacer on the top of panel 1 to attach panel two. The remaining panels are then stacked together and attached with anchors and silicone. Then, where the panels meet are grouted. The final result is a beautiful, functional and distinctive doorless walk in shower.

Masonry & Glass Systems can either fabricate and ship your walk in doorless shower or install it for you.

Masonry & Glass Systems partnering with Mulia making glass block showers more affordable, easier to design and more efficient to professionally install.

With our ability to ship modular glass block walk in showers or other designs we can provide a single source solution for your new bathroom needs. To further make the process simple and yet beautiful we can also provide custom curbs for the glass block walls to sit on manufactured by WEDI and fabricated by Masonry & Glass Systems. These custom built curbs are installed on top of our Wedi shower pans that are easily cut to fit any shower dimension.
