The client in these before and after photos was looking to replace their old aluminum windows and had a window in 3 equal sections. The lower part of the window was a double hung with the upper part fixed. The new Restorations window has much cleaner sight lines and is configured on a ¼ ½ ¼ ratio. The result is that there are replacement casement windows on either side of picture window and a lot more glass which makes for a very attractive cleaner look.
These new replacement vinyl windows were designed with Sunrise’s triple glaze glass with Solarban which produces a U value of.19. This energy rating is substantially better than Energy Star minimums of U.30. On the outside you also see a much more attractive look in the before and after photos. This window replacement project has clearly enhanced the curb appeal of this home.
